Southland RV is proud to announce they will be re- introducing Truck Campers into their lineup. After a two-year break from offering these products the company has decided to begin stocking this amazing style of campers once again. Southland will be carrying the full line of Lance, Northstar and Cirrus Truck campers. “We are very excited to get back into truck campers”, said Eddie Correa, a partner at Southland RV, “Both Lance, Northstar and Cirrus provide great products that our customers will love!”
The full line of lance campers here at Southland will include but is not limited to the 650, 855s, and 1172, just to name a few. Lance Campers come in a variety of sizes based on the length of the truck bed as well as consumer preference.
First, let’s start with the Lance 650 model. This unit has a dry weight of 1694 lbs and an overall length of 15’6”. This camper is designed to accommodate half ton trucks with 5’ or 6’ foot beds. It has all the standard camper amenities including a wet bath and a queen-sized bed. The 855s is considered a short bed model as well despite the fact that it is slightly longer than the 650 model. The biggest difference between these two campers is that the 855s has a slide out, which holds the dinette.
The 1172 model is larger than the other two with an overall length of 20’4” and a dry weight of 4074 Lbs. It has two slide outs. One for the dinette and fridge, and the other for the two recliners located at the rear of the unit. All three campers are wonderfully crafted with aluminum frame making them both very light and sturdy. The other truck camper being added to Southland’s product line is the Cirrus. These truck campers are built by Nucamp and offer a luxurious way to camp while still having the ability to tow behind your truck. Southland will have both the 820 model and the 920 model available. Both campers are built with a seamless aluminum roof, as well as an aluminum framed body. The 920 model is built for an 8’ bed resting on a ¾ -ton truck. The 820 model is built a 6’ bed on a ¾ ton truck. Both units have keyless entry and electric jacks. For more details about the Cirrus product line you can visit: https://cirrus.nucamprv.com/
